Somonauk won their third title in four years with a 54-42 triumph over Waterman at Plano in the championship
game. The Bobcats reached the title game with wins over Sandwich (46-20), Leland (67-22) and Earlville (51-31). The Leland
game was a rematch of teams that battled through two overtimes just weeks earlier with Somonauk winning 38-36.
Waterman defeated Paw Paw, Serena and Shabbona in overtime to earn a right to play for the title.
Shabbona went on the win third place honors with a 53-27 win over Earlville.
