Shabbona won four games in five days and captured the LTC Tournament title, their first since 1936. The Indians topped Rollo (70-27), Hinckley (51-24), Waterman (47-36) and Serena in the final game 35-29. Serena reached the finals with wins over Plano, Earlville and Leland.

Leland, who upset Somonauk 34-33 in two overtimes, won the third place game over Waterman 33-30.
